Week Tweleve: Day 7 : Sept 29 : More Group Travel!! Arrival in Steinbach, and work tours.

My alarm went off at 5:30am. Michelle and I relucatntly got up and packed our bags. Then we went to the lobby, grabbed the curtousy breakfeast (I had a blueberry muffin, a cinnamon pastry, a bagel with cream cheese and some appel juice.), and then checked out. Michelle and I caught the 6am shuttle with Catherine and Cindy. the others were all going to get there stuff together and checkout, 'cause they'd been out all night visiting Cindy's family.

When we got the airport, we got our tickets, and I paid $22 to check a second bag. We even ran into the group that was headed to Chisasibi and had just come from Steinbach!!!! Two of the girls in that group were from the Queen Charollet islands!!! Which I thought was just so funny, 'cause I had recently finished "The Golden Spruce", and now I wanna go there!!!!!!!!!! >.<

Then we headed over to security, and I forgot to empty my water bottel!!!! Luckily the gruad/attenand person let me chug it. -.- Blauh! After that though, I set off the metal detector, so they had me go in the swirly x-ray machein thingy.....and I can't figure out for the life of me what set it off!!!! o.O

On the 1st flight, I sat next to Catherine, in an Isle seat by the emergancy exit. It was really sad thoguh, because it was only 2minutes before we started our decent when she and I reliezed we could watch movies!!!!! o.O We really wanted to watch Cars 2.

We had and hour and a half lay-over in Toronto. They have a very nice airport! I ate a blueberry scone from starbucks, and I was super lucky that it was under $3 because that was all the cash I had left! AND my debit card wasn't working!!!! It hadn't worked in Montreal, so I had to pay the $20 extra-bag fee with cash! >.<

Our flight to Winnipeg got slightly delayed, but it was fun sitting around in the airport. We must've looked like a pretty interesting group!!! XD

Once we got on the plan, there was an issue with a family of four wanting to sit together, and then a couple who had those seats still wanting to sit together, as a result, I ended up moving. I still had a window seat though. So no big deal. *shurgs* I got to watch Cars 2 and OMGZZ!!!!! >.< It was so EPIC!!!! XD

Then we were in Winnipeg! Alice the PC was there to pick us up with one of her friends. Us girls were really mean though, 'cause we all introduced ourselves with the wrong names......>.< I went by Michelle. But we all pilled in the van and headed for Steinbach, which was roughly an 1-2hrs drive.

When we got the house, the 1st thing I did was claim a bed, and I got a bottom bunk!!!!! XD YES!!!!! No more jumping up and down!!! Not that I would've needed to, 'Cause both beds had things next to them you could climb on, but it was nice all the same. Then we had lunch, which was like a wrap-thing. Mine had cucumber and tomato and lettuce and 3 kinds of delie meat! XD. I even had a little bit of mustard. Then there was CAKE and garnola!!!!!!! >//<

Then I changed into the new shrit I bought at Northeren for the work tours, which made no differance 'cause I wore a sweater. 1st we visited El'Dad Ranch, where the treated us to cookies and juice. There were some dogs there too, even COWS!!!!! O.o Then we went to SAC - the Steinbach Arts Council, which is basically a rec center, but for the arts instead of sports. They have two possision there. One for the per-school and one for the office.

XD I snagged TONS of borchures. LOL

Then we got home. I unpacked my stuff, changed the sheets on my bed, grabbed another sweater and some "play" glasses from the over group's "leave behind" box. Then I started some laundry. Then I went to the park out back and had some alone-time. And yes, there was singing involved. ;)

Dinner was  4 cheese vegitarina lasuanga with salade and garlic bread. There was also some super wicked tea the Hilary, our new PL , made. I claimed a new cup! I checked the comp really quick, and then we had a meeting to discuss our 72hrs off that we'd be having over Thankgiving weekend. I might miss out on the big meal after all. T.T After that I had a shower.

AND NOW I CAN START ATTENDING CHURCH AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

Chisasibi Week Tweleve: Day 6: Sept 28: Locked down! Saying Good-bye, and the Complications of Group Travel!

I woke up at 7:30am, and was gonna go back to sleep, but when checked my phone for the time, it said it was "locked"!!!! And today we are travelling!!!!! O.o Oh boy! So I spent an hour starting to write out all the possible 4 digit codes and entering them into my phone. T.t I ate some bread with cream cheese and the last of the fruit salade with yogurt and vector, then went on comp for a bit, and weighed all my bags again. Then I went at the phone problem for another hour. So much number crunching!!!!! o.O

Brunch was French toast, baccon, melon, and grapes. Then I cleaned the girl's bathroom, helped bring in the food donations from the night before, and started loading the van with luggage. I went with the 1st load of bags to the airport, to watch 'em and stuff. I checked my bags right away, but then we had some complications with how'd they'd get transferred to our other plane. We worked it out though. Chris came with the rest of the group, and we tried to have Hippy Time, but ended up having to leave for our plan. (Dran CGT!!!! Because it got postponed our schedule got all messed up T.t) I did get to hear what Chris wanted to say to me though, and he gave me the chocolate to split between the group later.

As we left the run way, I looked back at the airport, and I could see a bunch of people lined up by the fence watching the plane take off. It was all our friends (I know 'cause of Chris' bright red shirt.) THere was Chris, Jack and Elizabeth, Julia and Melony, and I think Colette was there too. Safe to say Michelle cried when I pointed it out to her.

Unfortunately, our trip was not ll that smooth, I mean, as far as being up in the air, we were fine, but there were some major delays when we got into VAl d'or. (Air Creebec did at least feed us lunch though.) Catherine called the travel service line for Katimavik, and we told them we were more than likely going to miss our Montreal Flight to Winnipeg. They said to call them back as soon as we could, but that wouldn't be till we landed in Montreal. As we were landing, there was some confusion the group as to whether or not we wanted the flight attendant to try and get us off the plane 1st. I told her not to bother, but we decided to try to get to our gate anyway. We made it, only to find out that the Winnipeg flight had been delayed by an hour!!!!!! We totally could've made it! But, as fate would have it, Katimavik had already gone ahead and cancelled our tickets and couldn't re-instate them.

We all went to the baggage claim, and grabbed our stuff. We met Vincent's parents, and waited for the shuttle to take us to the same in I had stayed in the 1st night with Talia.I waited for the second shuttle, because we couldn't all fit in one.

Catherine made a LOT of phone calls for us that night. There was some "tension", okay, well lots of tension, in the group.

When we got to the hotel, I had a room with Michelle. After we set our stuff in order, she went off with Justin to see about the mourning shuttle and calling her parents. I sat down and started journalling, then Catherine came in and turned on the TV.  ( She didn't want to be alone in her room.) She and I proceeded to have a very emotional heart-to-heart about the whole day, and how stressful it had been, especially for her, because she had made all the phone calls and stuff for us. She even called me a Psychologist at one point! XD

After a while, Michelle and Justin came back, then we all trucked over to the vending machine to get some sustenance! I got sun chips and a raisin oatmeal cookie! XD

I think travelling in a group of 10 is a bit hectic. Maybe 2-4 would be good, but such a big group is a bit......challenging I guess.

OH YEAH!!!!!! I got my phone unlocked while we were flying out of Val d'or on Air Creebec. The number was 2412, which was the last 4 digits of my phone number. Chris had tried to give them to me earlier, 'cause we had the suspicion that might be the default, but he gave me the wrong number. *shrugs* Either way! I got my phone unlocked, and then reset it, so it wasn't locked any more.  And yes, I did write out all the codes up to 2412 by hand.........I guess it's pretty reasonable that the others called me crazy! XP

Chisasibi Week Tweleve: Day 5: Sept 27: Chisasibi's Got Talent!!

UP at 8:30am. Ate taco meat, bell peppers and cheese. We started taking stuff down off the walls, and washing them. Chris was a little miffed that we weren't reading the instructions on the cleaning supplies.....Ooops.

For lunch we had butter tarmagine and couscous. I went on the comp for a bit, then around 2:45pm, I went over to the school, which had finally re-opened. I tried to find Janie and talk about the leather, but she was in a meeting. Naydine wasn't in the Library either, so I still have her spare keys...When I got back to the house, Jack and Elizabeth were there with their kids. After they left, we started plating food up for tonight for our healthy canteen.

Dinner was bread with PB and honey and fruit salade. Then Chris went off to pick up the GRAND CHIEF OF JAMES BAY!!!!!!!! He was at LG1 and was willing to judge for us, he just needed to be picked up! Unfortunately, that left us in a bit of a lurch, with no one to take us to set up the space, Luckily Colette stopped by (she had some of our food I think) and she graciously drove Gordon, Talia, and I to the Mitchwap Centre. We were able to set up chairs, and the sound guys where there, but we hadn't really been prepared to start registering people, but they started showing up, so we did.

Finally! The rest of the group showed up, and we got all the food and everything else set up! After that, we still had to wait like 20min for CHISASIBI'S GOT TALENT to start. I was a runner near the beginning, literally!!! I was running to get more chairs!!! It was SO packed, we even had people who crowded in the back and stood the whole time! I was a little stressed out the near the beginning, but we had such a good turn out, and everything went so well, that I couldn't help but rock out with everyone else!!!! And omgz!!!! CHISASIBI HAS GOT TALENT!!!!!!!!!! woot woot!!! XD My fav act was probably when one of the girls from Gordon's billet family and her friend went up and danced to "Its a hard knock life" from Annie!!! XD

After the we sang our song and gave out the prizes, man you should've seen the rush for the door when we said it was over! *rolls eyes* We did some clean up...well.....I didn't help as much as I probably should have......The Northern lights were out when we headed home. Had a shower!

Chisasibi Week Tweleve: Day 4: Sept 26: Denvor's B-day and the Blanket ceremony

Woke up around 7:30am. I tried going back to sleep after eating, oh, I don't even remember! But that didn't happen, so I went on the computer and blogged(not this entry!) and FBed and read manga and stuff.

Lunch was grilled cheese, some of which had balony. Then I headed down town with the grocery shopping crew (after helping with the apple crisp) and went to Janie's, but she wasn't home, and wasn't answering her phone. I have no clue what I'm going to do about getting leather for finishing my moccasins.....I went back to Northern and bought that shirt I'd been eyeing for like a month. Got a wonder bar too! >.< Ran into Chris who was buying some cloth, went and talked with Michelle who was waiting in the van, then walked home. The shirt I bought is SUPER BIG on me!!!!! It's a good thing I have a belt, at least that makes it looks kinda stylish. XD

I read my Bible a bit after that and finished Leviticus. I sang a little too, then actually napped in the sun for a bit.....and my memory doesn't seem all that great today......*shrugs*

Dinner was at Jack and Elizabeth's  for Denvor's B-day. we had moose, rice, fryed moose, our Caesar salade and macaronic salade, and our vegan chocolate cake w/whip cream, and our apple crisp. We played some video games with Denvor, and tried to put the baby to sleep. Unfortunately, I was on my moon-time, so I couldn't attend the blanket ceremony they were doing for those who had missed the shake tent, so I got asked to take Denvor and Baby Girl to the Katimavik because they were misbehaving and they didn't want them to interrupt the ceremony.

Catherine went back to the house with me, and Colette drove us there. We saw Northern lights on our way, they were very green. The baby sitting went okay, except that the neighbours came over saying we were being to noisy. (We had two young kids! what do you aspect?!)

We everyone got back, Elizabeth had driven over to pick up her kids. Apparently the blanket ceremony was really intense and frightening. I'm not sure whether I feel relived that I missed it, or if I feel rather upset. If I do feel upset, it'll be because I missed out on a group experience, so I won't be able to relate with them on the same level any more........... *sighs* We'll see.

OKAY!

So, I am home now. No more busy schedules, no more crazy late nights. I am going to finish posting my journal entries, as I do want to try and get this linked to the Katimavik blog, because I know reading ones before I left help clam me nerves. That, and then my group mates can read it! XP

So, it's really late and pretty far behind, but here I go!!!

Chisasibi Week Tweleve: Day 3: Sept 25: Post Sercerts, and Guests

I woke up at 7:30am, and ate some bread with butter and chocolate chips, then went back to bed. I woke up again at 11am because some kids were yelling out front. I read manga on the computer till lunch, which was crepes again. Then Catherine, Gordon, Talia  and Chris all went to do the gorcery shopping while the others did the daily tasks. I cleaned the upstairs bathroom, and even bleached and scrubbed the shower cuirtain, and I actually managed to get most of the pink stuff off!!!! ^//^ YEAH! After that I read my Bible again, I don't think I'll finish it while on Katimavik, I'm still in Leviticous! T.t......

Later, Michelle and I read some managa on Talia's laptop and I found out we had a book called "Post secerts: a life time of secerts" ion the house. I read it, and OMGZZZ,  some of those were so sad!!! Some hwere just plain weird, but wow, talk about an inside look at the human experiance! O.o If youever get the chance, I recommend reading it!

Sang out back for a bit.

Dinner was bannock taccos, with home made salsa, and there was oroogala salade. Colette had helped cooked the bannock, so that Brandon could teach her how to make it. It was funny too, because she has the same gray Chisasibi pants that I do, and we were both wearing them! XD After dinner I went out back and sang again, till it got really dark out. Lady started fighting with a cat too. When I went back inside, I found that JAck and Elizabeth had come over with their kids. They invited us to attend a blanket ceremony, for those who missed the shake tent ceremony, but I can't do (Moon Time). I am veyr thankful I made the sweat yesterday! >//<

THen we had a reflection on the competancies. We made a chart poster thing, and we laughed a bunch near the end. I talked with bRAndon about some stuff related to CCK and the committees. Then tried calling Dad,but he didn't pic up, so I journaled and tryed again later, but still no answer, so then I tryed Mom, but nothing.

I ate some bannock with butter and jam, then had a cup of tea. I talked some more with Brandon, and then Dad called back, and I got to talk to him, Dawson and Mom. I love tea. >//<

Chisasibi Weel Twelve: Day 2: Sept 24: Debrife! and The Last Sweat

I got up at 7:30am, ate some left over breakfast sasuage, and went ot make some bread, but because there was a risk of the water being contamiated (from river) I boilded it. I didn't wait long enough for it to cool back down though, and I think I must have killed the yeast. .....oops. I ate some yogrut with a plum and some gramm cracker crumbs in it, which was very tasty. Then I went on the computer for a bit.

At 9am, Michelle woke up, and she, Chris and I  all hopped in the van to go get water from a natural spring that was 40km away. (We had to get speacial primission from head office because it was so far, but they approved it due to the circumstances.) Catherine was going to come, but then she slept in.

I really enjoyed the trip though. Chris even took Michelle and I for a little bonus, but that's a secert. ;) (It was so sweet though!!!!!! XD) The well we went to was an Artision well, which was basically a pipe sticking out of a hill, with water constantly coming out of it. It was so cool!!!!! XD Literaly too!!! I stuck my head under and had a drink, it was so refreshing!!!!! I slpashed my face too, and OMGZZZZZZ there is nothing like it!!! WE filled up two big containers, and then a couple small jars. And I don't know about you, but I loved that exprienace, it was epic! XD

On the ride back, I sat shotgun, and the three of us had some pretty good discussion.

WHen we got home, it was obvious that my bread did NOT rise, and wasn't going to. So I just baked it into a kind of flat bread thingy. For lunch, we had Mac and cheese, and there was also the leftover mushroom pork and leftover hashbrowns. GOrdon and I did lunch dishes.

After lunch, CHris persented us with his de-brife scheduale, and after some discussion, we did our reflection for CCK that after noon. It envolved us drawing pictures about what CCK had been, what it was now, and what we hoped it would be, or "awesome" vs. "not awesome". We were put in groups, I was with Brandon and Vincent, and we each did our own sets. Mine was all about bread, considering my fail from that morning. I think my pics came out pretty good though. I didn't think CCK had ever been awesome yet though, so I titled the 1st picture "not awesome" and it was dead bread and some pieces of carcol, which might have been cookies, and two people crying. It was also drawn with very drak colours. The 2nd picture was titled "slightly less not awesome" or "aka better" and that was a picture was of two loavs of bread, which you could at least eat, the two poeple weren't crying, and there was a littel more colour envovled. The last piture was "The futrue? AWESOME!!!!!" and had two beautiful loavs of bread, some bannopck, some cookies, and some pie. There were tons of colours, and a TON of poeple all ready to party! XD

(The reason I explained the pics was 'cause I liked them, but let Chris keep them.)

After wards, everybody went over what they had drawn. There were some very......interesting contirbutions.
Then I tired making some more bread. While it was rising I went out back and sang. WhenI went in to check the bread, I went out front after, because Justin was meditating in the back............yeah. I mean, this group is great and all, but it would be kind of neat if when you went to the next community you got a whole new group of people. I snacked on the 1st batch of bread.

Dinner was rice, stry-fired veggies, and chicpea salade. I did some prep-work, and then the group left for our activity -the last sweat in Chisasibi.

This sweat was very, intence, I think God might have actually spoke to me. .......If you wantto know more I'll tell you in person, because I don't really want to post the details. This sweat was definetly the hottest I'd been to, and I still never laid dwon during a round. CAtherine and MIchelle both recived their spriti names.

When we got home, Brandon had cooked my bread for me (I think he stayed home 'cause he was sick....) but it had a HUGE air bubble in the top.......it looked really funny......I ate some bread with butter ans chocolate chips, had a shower, then ate some maccaroni.

Chisasibi Week Twelve: Day 1: Sept 23: The Water Shortage and The Big Shut Down

Got up at 7 am and had a shower. Ate some yogurt with rice crispies and some bread with cream cheese. I decided I would buy my lunch at the take-out place in the mall, because the fridge was so packed with food I was very thrilled about, and I didn't feel like scroungiung around.

At work, I started by scanning the ISBN numbers on a whole bunch of books (finally! more work!), and I was planning to finish the magazines in the afternoon, but at 10am we where told to go home because they were closing the school. Now, the reason for this was because the resivoir was draining, (which ment there was a leak somewhere) so the town was now on a water shortage, and when that happens, all public bulidings must be closed due to safety reason. (eg. no fire sprinklers) We also learned that ONCE the leak is found and fixed (who knows how long that will take) it will then take 3 days for the resivoir to fill up again.

When I got home, I learned that Chisasibi's Got Talent(CGT) was also "postphoned" because, of course, we were going to be using a public space. I was also really lucky in regards that I had a shower that morning, and washed my sheets right before we heard on the radio that we weren't supposed to do laundry, or have shower, or use dishwasher, etc.

It was really hard on us that CGT got postphoned, we even thought we might have to cancel it! Luckily, while I was blogging (not this entery), some of the others in teh group went out with Pauline and sold the fuirt smoothy cups we had made, so they didn't go to waste and we were able to make some porfit even! I think....*shrugs*

But yeah, backtracking a little, on my way home from work I bought two butter trats at the general store (no raisins! >//<) and then when I got home, I blogged TEN enteries!!!! TEN!!!!!!! I am still three weeks behind though (I don't even know how that happened T.t) I also swept and cleaned both bathrooms before I sat down at the computer. We had crepes for lunch, some sweet, some savoury. Then I was really litless, and couldn't settle on naything to do, so I sat in the closet and texted Mom. (.......yes, I sat in a closet, it was actually very cozy XP)

We had cerpes again for dinner, and I made some snowflakes out of paper. Michelle and I noticed we were running low on the water we had quickly got that morning from the tape, so she and I took and pot and hiked dwon to the river, filled it, and hiked back carring it between the two of us. We also had a dog escort the inter way. XD BAck at the house, I put my sheets on my bed, then Michelle and I read "The Bride of the Water God" together. I remeber why I liked that one now >.<

THen I ate the last of the yogurt with cronflakes. XP

Chisasibi Week Eleven: Day 7: Sept 22: Mailing Take2 and Mini-Concerts

( Brandon says Rawr! and LOL XP )

I woke up at 7:30am, and ate puuffed rice with yogurt and bread with cream cheese. THen set out to work while carring my box! Michelle carried it for me  for a bit so I could rest my arms. >//<

Moring work was slow. I ended up staying in the library while others made Trukish bagels with Tony again. I brought WAY to much spaghetti for lunch, so I left half for after work, but I ended up eating half a bagel anyway. They were HUGE!!!!! I gave the other half to Naydine, she liked it. ^//^ After lunch, I started working on reorganizing and "eliminating" magazines, which was a BIG task for the secondary section. Espicially for the ones like The Economist, who have multiple releases per month. I did quite a bit though, I only have to more shevling units to do tomorrow!

After work, Talia went over to commericail center with me, so she couls walk home with after I mailed my package. We ran into Cindy, and I waited for an hour but I got to mail my package! I weighted 6kg and cost $23.06, which wasn't to bad at all!!!!!! O.o

When we got home (safely) I went out back and sung a bit while petting Lady.

Dinner was breakfast. We had grated potato hashbrowns, baccon, oranges, sasuages, bread with cream cheese and eggs.

I went out back in bear feet again, and ran into some neighbourhood girls who were trying to retrun a "lost" dog. They were having tourble walking it, so I took over and went with them. As we got up to the house, it's owner actually pulled up in a truck and told us the dog was "not lost" but that they let her roam. When I got home, I listened to my MP# player and sketched a bit.

Then the group did some prep for Chisasibi's Got Talent tomorrow. We partciced the song too. Two locqal men also came over to visit, and for some reason, I ended up singing "You are my Sunshine" for/with them. I also sang a church song for Cindy, who said something about me sounding like Mandy Moore. >//<

Chisasibi Week Eleven: Day 6: Sept 21: Almost Mugged, Beading and My Box

I got up at 7 am, showered, and had puffed rice (I think with yogurt.......?) and eggbread with butter for breakfast. I worked on my beading, but got a little too caught up in it so left a little bit late. My MP3 didn't charge porperly either, so no music on the way to work. T.t

Work was slow AGAIN!!!!!!  I printed some stuff off, which invovled using the memeory stick and going to the computer lab upstairs because the library computer ran out of ink.......we are very low on supplies....-.-
It truned out to by a 1/2 Ped Day at the school though (like a Pro-D day), so after lunch, which was rice with chicken and an orange, I spent the afternoon reparingbooks. AND I had to reshelve ALL the books the pre-Ks took off the shelves. What a mess! >.< Oh, there was also a meeting, so when it was done, I had to put the chairs back, and I spent WAY to much time doing it. But I did end up making really cool Polygon-based shapes! XD I made a gaint triangle, a long rectangle, a circle (well, not really) and an inverted circle. ^//^ It was pretty fun. I also set up the chairs so that they were in ratios by colour, because there were some that were yellow, and some that were brown.

On the walk home, I was "cornored" or stopped by the side of the road by two young looking guys. And I KNERW they were scketchy!! I wanted to pass them as we were crossing the road so I wouldn't have to talk to them, but I ended up stopping to tie my shoes, and then a car came at the wrong time, so I was cuaght standing at the edge of the road when they crossed over.

Their names were JAmes and Laurance, and I don't know if they were drunk or high or WHAT! BUt I felt harrassed. Not to mentined offened!!!  (I feel awful just typing it up and having to read about it again.....ick...) The James guy kept swearing his head off and saying B*** He wanted to call out "all dem Katima- B***s, and said that we (Katimavik) needed to get out of town and "disappear," To which I said that we were in fact leaving in 2 weeks-ish (but I didn't mention the new group, oh, and because I am so far behind, I can also tell you that one of the guys in the group after us got mugged.....so.....yeah....) James also said something about slapping the A****s of B****s and at that point, he was in my space. Laurauance also said some stuff about a gang raising up soon. I finally got away, saying that I'd be late for dinner, but I almost stepped right out in front of a car.

I was desperate though, they were completely in my space, LAurance in my face and James coming up behind me. I was so tempted to smack James one with my metal water bottel, which I had in fact started carrying in case I needed to hit anyone. Luckily it didn't come to that.

Right after I got home, and I guess I looked pissed when I came in, 'cause people where asking me questions right away, I talked to Brandon about it, then to Chris. I felt a lot better after talking about it. I told CHris about it also as a safety thing (which didn't seem to accomplish much......-.-" Not that it's Chris' fault someone got mugged! Not by any means!!!) And it was funny too, 'cause Brandon said, "Step out and have a smoke with me." He totally sounded like a counciler when he said it too!! XD

Gordon and I did dishes togeher, so I got to listen to Florance and the Machine!!!! XD Then I had some hybiscous tea.

I finished my beading! XD Yeah! I had some hot chocolate, and ate more egg-bread with buuter!

Then I called Mom. I also tried calling Dad at Young Adults but with no luck. T.t So Mom called the buliding, and told Crystal to tell Dad to call me. BUt he never called back. After that I helped CAtherine seam-ripe her moccasins (without a seam ripper!) because she sewed something on backwrads.....which as kinda my bad for not giving enough instruction....?

I also put my box on the table after dinner so that everyone could sign/draw on it! >.< Chris even drew a picture! Itwas pretty good too! XD Unfortunatly, Talia altered the KAtima-logo, which it specifically says NOT to do, so if I get sued, she'd better be ready to hear some knocking. XP

Dinner was Porkchops with mushroom gravy and rice. It was SO GOOD and helped chree me up SO much! There was also a salade. Michelle also brought home some chocolate cake from work. PUaline ate over with us.

Chisasibi Week Eleven: Day 5: Sept 20: Mailing, and The Final French Activity

Woke up at 7am. Ate cereal with yogurt and added in some wheat grem. Then I tryed some packaged cream of wheat stuff, but it was nasty. I worked on the beading a bit.

I spent the moring at the school working the the backery with the others from the group and Tony. We made 8 loafs of braided egg-bread,4 with poppy sead, and 4 with seasemi seeds. We got to use an industrial dough mixer too! It was super cool! While we were waiting for the bread to rasie, I went and completely re-organized his supplie cupbroads.......  ;D LOL I think I might have OCD.....just a little.

Anywho, we got to eat one loaf fresh out of the oven, with butter, and AHHHHHH!!!!! >//< !!!!!! IT was SO GOOD!!!!!!! I gave a piece to NAydine and she liked it too. Lunch was white rice with cheese and sandwhich meat (ham), which was actually a very statasfying lunch!

Work was SO slow! Being out of barcodes and circulation sheets sucks!!!! T.t Espicially when I know I COULD be doing that work, if only we had the supplies!!!! T.t

After work I mailed Elise's letter, and it only cost me $2!!!!!!!! O.o THAt was so much less than I was expecting!!!! Espicailly since it was international! (........ That's actually the 1st time I mailed a letter at the post office itself......>.<) I do still expect that the package home will be expensive though.

Back Home, I worked on my beading and did some prep for the French Activity. Ate some bread with cream cheese.

Dinner was a Tonnie Thrusday theme thingy. We had some really good chicken with fires, there were also grapes and strawberries, and bread. Jaque from MSDC (CAtherine's Boss) ate with us.

THen there was more prep to do for the French activity, which envolved a lot of tape and cinfusing number orders. XD But CAtherine and I got it all figured out! I think it went SUPER good too, for the energizer and the active treasure hunt bit (So much laughing and running!! XD It was great!) My group finished 1st. XD
At the end, everybody got chocolate.

Unfortunately, Chirs' friend Chris had challengaed us to attend a church group that night,.... dran mandatory french activity! :P

Before going to bed, I started the leaves on my patteren for the beading.

CHisasibi Week Eleven: Day 4: Sept 19: Good-Bye, Memory Stick, and the Final CCK

I got up around 7:30am and cereal with peach yogurt. I went on the come and packed my bag for work.

Work started off pretty slow. It was a block where the libaray was closed, so I was gonna repair books after taking care of some Katima-paper work. While working, I saw Julia go to the office, so I ran over to remind her about getting the song from the radio station (her work placement), only for her to tell me she got kicked out of the porgram that morning. I was shocked! I was just kind of....blank.....I repaired books till lunch when I started top get a bit more energy back.

Lunch was cream cheese with spagehtiiee again, but this time minus the fork....yeah, that was messy. I also ate half a cucmber. I AM SO PSYCHED TO HAVE A MEMORY STICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is so awesome! I also wrote a poem-song thing after a really long time of NOT writing and it felt SO GOOD to write again!!

Then I went to the commercial center to look for green beads for my moccasins, but they didn't match the other ones I was using. I didn't mail the letter to Elise either, though I had it on me........>.<

Work was pretty chill that afternoon too. At 2:15pm I went to talk with Tony about the backery tomorrow morning!! BAck at the library, we have TONS of books, but we ran out of barcodes and circulation stickers, so now there's almost no work! T.t

When I got home, I worked on the beading. Dinner was chicken, rice, veggies and salade.

Because we didn't do CCk the night before, we had it now, and I think it went pretty well. It was really fast for a change bacuse we have very littel time left here, so Chris will be planning most of our activities during debrief. During "Chris Talks", he mentionded the stuff about Julia, who had already left the house to go stay with Melony (who she billetted with). During Varia, I told the group about my desier to go to church in Steinbach, and it seemed like everyone would consider it.

Chris was also bugging me about him giving me a CTI (Commeitment to improve -which is icky paper work that you don't want) for being, basically, "awesome". XD LOL

After CCK, Catherine gave me a pancake, which I ate with butter and icing sugar, and there were more jokes made at my expance. Luckily they were cheap! XP (.....if that makes sence...O.o)

Chisasibi Week Eleven :Day 3: Sept 18: 48Hrs Off and Box Prep

Woke up around 8am. I started a batch of bread, washed some dishes, cleaned a bathroom, swept,  anddid a load of laundry. I worked on Elise's letter again, and then re-packed the box I am mailing home to my parents. I also wrote a list that explained every single thing in the box! XD

Then I had a shower. I also ate cereal with yogurt, bread with with icing sugar, bread with PB, and noodles with in this time. (Breakfast AND lunch!) When I finsished my shower, I worked on the beading for my moccasins.

I went out back for a bit, and walked aournd in the sand in my bear feet, which was SUPER fun!!!!! >//< I was wearing my white dress with the butterflys on it too, and it was super windy! XD I was out there for around an 1hr. :P

When I got back inside, I took the box I was gonna mail home and drew pictures one it. The box looked so plain and lonely with just white, so I made it more colourful! XP After that I helped with some planning for the final French Activity we are going to have in Chisasibi.

Dinner was spaghetti with chicken, asperigous, and a dessert cracker thing Julia brought home. I also drank some hot chocolate that Michelle made, which was so good!!! It was also really nice to have so many people at dinner, because it was during the 48hrs, so it wasn't mandatory. The conversation was pretty good.......for the most part..... >.<

Bauze was visiting all day, and I really dislike his swearing. Has he no respect?

The 48hrs off ended after dinner, and we were supposed to have CCK, but Chris had left earlier in the day, so we couldn't start with out him. We worked on our Katima-song instead. I think we got a good amount of work done. After that I did some more beading till 10:40pmish, and I am really happy, because when I started I was worried that it was truning out weird, but now I think it will be okay.

Chisasibi Week Eleven: Day 2: Sept 17: 48Hrs Off, Beading, and The Shake Tent Ceremony

I selpt in till 9am!!! Yeah! XD Ate rice crispies with yogrut for breakfast. Then went on Face Book, Gmail, and manga reader. Worked on moccasins. Had sphagetti with cream cheese for lunch. I also ate bread with buuter and icing sugar at one point, and I made tea, but forgot about it so it was cold when I finally had it......T.t

Then I agreed to play Risk, which was stupid 'cause I wanted to go to JAnie's with MIchelle so JAine could actually SHOW me how to do the beading. I was sewing during the game though, so I finished the lining. And I was out the door as soon the the game ended. (Nobody won, we just all got tired of it.) I speed walked to Jaine's, and Michelle had to jog to keep up (sorry!). Jaine showed us what to do, and also suggested adding beads to the top of the linning. Then I started beading, which was super hard! I was wondering why Michelle was having such an easy time (after breaking her 1st needel XD) and then, right before I had to run back home to go to the shake tent, I swichted over to the kind of leather she was using and OMGZ!!!!!!! It was SO much easier! So I took apart the pervious hour of work, and started over T.T

RAN home so that I'd be back by 5pm 'cause I didn't want to be left behind. When the house got in sight, the van wasn't there. I felt very discouraged. I ate some bread with PB and honey, and asked the people in the house if Chris had left already. They said he better not have, 'cause they wanted to go to.

Eventually Chris got back, and we all went over to Jack and Elizebeth's for 5:30pm. I expected we'd leave from there right away, but we stayed for around an hour and a half. We watched Borther Bear, which was awesome. I also got to eat some meat, cheese and mushroom sub which was super tasty!

We had a bit of a scar though when Denvor left the house without anyone noticing. We all went outside and did the whole search party thing. I ran all over, but by the time I got to the house he was already back.

Then we left for the shake tent ceremony. I didn't end up asking anything. I had been textin g with Mom and Dad about it, and Mom made the point that God would tell me my spriti name in person, and I thought that would be a BILLION times better than having a thrid party tell me. It would be so worth the wait to have God tell me my name himself! (Not that I dislike the name Sarah, I actually like it a LOT but....you know.... >.<) *breaths* I just feel excited thinking about it! >//<

Anywho, I helped serve dinner before the ceremony started. There was moose stew with rice in it, bannock, grapes, apple slices and oragne juice. The actual ceremony was pretty intense. I don't know if I should give you a lot of details. The ceremony did take place at night 'cause it needed to be dark, and the tent shook quite a bit (it was smaller than I expected....) Three Grandfather spritis came to visit, and a couple people cried after getting their answers. We also weren't supposed to hear what was being asked, or what the answer was (none of our business) so we had to talk to cover it up. I was sitting next to Justin, so I pretty much just forced conversation with him......well......I was really talking AT hime for the 1st bit but whatever. We even talked about making form that the committes could use for CCK! Talk about random! There was one break, and I think everyone in our group who wanted to ask a question did. Although Catherine had two and only one got answered.

When we finally got back home, I ate some toast with butter and icing sugar, but the toaster set off the smoke alarm.......1:15am

Chisasibi Week Eleven: Day 1: Sept 16: The Great Search and The Cheif

I was up at 7 am and had a shower. I ate 2 bowls of rice cripies, one with vanilla yogurt and one with blueberry-blackberry yogurt, and toast with Pb and honey.

Work was good. I am gonna miss it, and Naydine. She and I talked (in french!!! >//<) for 1hrsish about working in libaries and such. I think I might seriously consider it as a career. Apperently its not a feild that's in danger of colapsing due to updates with technology. XD

At lunch, I went to find Janie RIGHT as the beel went off. I went around the whole school and didn't see her! So I sat out front facing the school and ate my lunch. I figured if she left I would see her go. I ate spagethiie with cream cheese. By the time I finished it, I still hadn't seen Jaine, so I headed for her house and ate an apple on my way over. when I got to the house, Janie's husband let me in, and I played with Eli for a bit. (He is so cute!!!! >//<) But Janie wasn't home. Her daughter called her, and it truned out she was still and the school!

So I went back to the school and searched all over!!!! I still didn't find her. I ended up at the front of the school, and looked out the window as I truned to go back to the library, and guess who I saw. Janie! I walked back and met her as she came in the front doors. It was a bit tiring, but we had a good laugh. Then we went upstairs, and Janie explainded to me what I needed to do for the beading.

Work that afternoon was fine. I went to the cafatireia and bought to oven-fresh rasphberry turnovers, a dollar each. They were very good. I gave one to Naydine. (Naydine also gave me a muffin!! >//<)

Went home and sat outback in the sun and drew some pics.

Dinner was pizza. Then I tired the "tell me more" software that Katimavik provides for second launage learning.

Then I went to my second sweat. CAtherine and I both chipped in $10 and bought a 24case-lot of water, which I then porceeded to caryy for a good 2 blocks (not that they have blocks, but you get the idea). I felt very......manily.....*sshrugs* We met up with Chris, Talia and Justin, and I still insisted on carring it! XP i don't know, its kinda nice to feel strong every now and then. ;)

Michelle and Gordon went to babysit Jake and Elizabeth's kids so they could go to the sweat.

The sweat was good. I actually didn't leave between the 1st and 2nd rounds, but did after all the other ones. After round three, we ate they scarficies: cranberries, blueberries, fish, salmon, strawberries w/blueberries and water. The 4th round was extermly hot, but despite that I almost feel asleep twice near the beginning of the round. Afterwards, it was very emotional for Catherine.

When the sweat was over, I sat in the sweat lodge longer, and Chris and I ended up talking, well, listening really, to the Cheif. He said the reason I almost fell asleep was 'cause the Grandfather spriti had touched me....The Cheif also just talked to us about life and stuff. It was really cool. I really got a sence that I was being taught. (you know, the whole"at the feet of the master thing") He also made referance to the Bible.

I would really like to see more of that kind of teaching in the church. Less formal, everyone sitting very comfortably, and one person who everyone respects is speaking and that person is very knowlagdeable. .......I don't know, it was just a really cool experiance! >.<

We all walked home in the dark. I showered, ate some toast with PB and Honey, and also ate a small bit of sphagetti with cream cheese. Then I checked Face Book and email befor eheading to bed at 1:56am.

............so late...............-.-"

Chisasibi Week Ten: Day 7: Sept 15: The Pipe Cremony

Woke up at 7:30am without my alarm. Ate cornflakes with yogurt and toast with cream chees again. I also ate an orange, drank lots of water, And actually took one of my iron supplements to try and prevent mid-day triedness like yesterday. I also took my water bottel to work.

At work, I found a graphic novel series called the "Elsewhere Chorincals" and I am postive that it is by one of the artist from Flight!!!!!!!!! >.< I also showed flight to Naydine, who ordered them on the spot!!!! XD AND volume 8 came out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >//< I wonder if Mrs. Bruleson got it for the school yet......not that I can check them out there any more....I'm gonna have to order them for myself. But anywho! The Elsehwere Chornoicals are awesome!!!! I can't wait to get my hands on part 5!!!!!.......once I find it........

My frist half of lunch was spent talking with Justin as we cut out some lamenating. Apperently he is planning onw writing a books series, based loosely on his own life, and he is goona add us into it!!!!! : D It also has to do with genectic engenireing and stuff. It sounds very cool!!! >//< I really hopes he gets it published so I can read it!!!!

Work was pretty standard. I still till 5pm, EVEN THOUGH Chris had come by the school and had told me that we could attened a pipe ceremony that night, but we had to leave by 5:30pm. I managed to get home just in time, by running of course, but when I got there, the food we were taking to the feast wasn't even ready, and no one had made bannock. Michelle was the only on who wouldn't be able to attend the ceremony, because of her moon time. We also had to wear skrits.

I texted Dad before we left. So much for no electronice week.

At the ceremony, the pipes didn't get passed, which relived me 'cause I REALLY didn't want to have to smoke one. There were 8 poeple there with piepes in total. Half where women and half where men. They sang two songs and then we ate the feast. Brandon got back from his party at the daycare just in time for the food. There was our stew, bannock, bread, apples and bananas and then goose, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cupcakes and jello with whipped oil. (It was not cream at all!!! ) Now, the ceremony was taking place because there were apperently two teenage spritis, one boy and one girl, that were trapped in that house because they didn't relize they had passed on. IN order to move on, they needed to eat, that's why they held the feast, and  we didnn't actually ate any of the food, the spritis ate it through us............(hun-huh).........

After it finished, Jack's wife did a give away. I got a tup-o-ware container for the house, and then someone said I needed to grab a pair of socks because I was wearing to mismatched ones, not only in colour, but also in length. (one was a knee high ^//^") We hung around upstairs afterward, and found out that Jak was hosting a shake tent ceremony, where you can ask question, like who is your spriti guide and what is your spriti name, etc. The ceremony will be on Saturday, during our 48hrs off, but Chris said he will ask Vrigine if he can use the van if enough people want to go. I wanna go and ask for a spriti name, but I don't know if it's......acceptable.......??????

One we got home, I ate some of the chiken balls and Bradon brought home from his party, and for whatever reason, the laudry wasn't done porperly so our sheets were still wet. I also spent 1 hour or more sorting out mini-coloured glass beads that Iwas stupid enough to mix up. (Sttttttuuuuupiiiiiiidddddd!!!!!!!!) Ate 3 more chiken balls and then Michelle also gave me a biscuit!!!

Made my bed with fresh out of the dryer sheets. 12:08am

Chisasibi Week Ten: Day 6: Sept 14: Daisy and moccasins

Woke up at 7am and had a shower. Breakfast was cornflakes with vanilla yogurt and toast with cream cheese and an orange. And it was real toats, not bread wramed up in the microwave. *rolls eyes*

I wokred a bit on my moccasins before heading to work.

The morning was so busy!!! I was cataloging, labeling, and checking out books to multiple classes.
Lunch was sloppy joes meat (very sweet) with bread, an apple, and an orange. Then I sat dwon, and managed to cover 3 pages of Elise's 8 page letter.

In the afternoon, I got super tired. I think it was because I was dehydrated. Work also got really slow, well, except for the per-Ks. We also had a student in the trades progamme working with us, however, he is evidently disabled, and he can't perfrom any pf the tasks Naydine gives him...... We are hoping his teacher can find a better placement for him. And there's still no word on the bakery.

I was stupid and didn't bring my rain coat to work, so, of course, it would be raning after work. I ran home.

I ate bread with butter and icing sugar when I got home. Dinner was sphgattie with salade and cheese. Our guests were Moelony, Pauline and Daisy the deputy cheif of police. She told us a littel about Chisasibi, then we all took a picture with her and our Katima-table. (The one that has "Katimavik" pianted on it.)

Janie came over to help us with our moccasins. I finished one lining, and am now waiting on leather. I also need to come up with a desing to do in bead work on top of my moccasins. Ate more bread with icing sugar.

Chisasibi Week Ten: Day 5: Sept 13

Got up around 7:30am. Ate oatmeal with PB, jam and carnberries. It was raining, so I unpacked my raincoat from the box I was gonna send home, and walked to work while Chris apperently drove everyone else. :P

Oh yeah, and its "supposed" to be no electronics week, so I didn't have my MP3 for the way to work.

Work was pretty slow. I checked out books, labed books, spent my lunch lamenating. then ate PB and jam sandwhich with an apple. After lunch, I learned how to enter copies into the system. Then did more lamenating.

I GOT A B-DAY CARD FROM AUNTY RENEE!!!!! >//<

Dinner was sloppy Joes, cucmber salade and garden salade. It was very good. :) I did dishes.

CCK started at 8am and went till 10pm. It was basicaly a total flop. Everyone was VERY off topic, and constantly speaking out fo trun. Justin got a littel sinpity, even though he was giving up the position....Chris also removed Vincent as treasuer, because he wasn't keeping track of anything. Julia ended up being our new treasuer, and Michelle is our new Chair-person. I'm abit worried about how that will go, considering Michelle has abit of a temper.....

Haha, Brandon asked me to sing in Chisasibi's got talent.......   >//< as flatered as I am, I don't think it will happen.....

Chisasibi Week Ten: Day 4: Spet 12: Last day of Billetting

Woke up around 7am. I ate bread with PB an rasphberry jam. Then had some of last nights dessert of apple crisp and pie. >//<

At work ,I charged my MP3 player on the library's computer, XP brcause Jenny didn't really have a computer at the house. During the morning, I signed out books to some classes and scanned a whole ton of ISBN numbers for cataloging.

Lunch was leftover tomato soup with crushed up baked potato and an apple, which was very good!!!! Then I blogged 2 enteries.l (Not this one.......)

Afterwards, I worked on repairing more books and chatted with Talia and Justin. He and Vincent also photocopied a poster that Brandon sent us, to put up around the school for Chisasibi's Got Talent.

Back at Janie's house, I packed up all my clothes, did the dishes, and ate a bagle with cream cheese and rashpberry jam. Then I played with Eli a bit, and he is so completly adorable!!!! >//< When Janie got home, she showed my how to make my own blueberry pie. She also told my I could use her washer and dryer to do my laundry BEFORE going back to the house, so I wouldn't have to wait for my trun. I took her up on that very kind offer.  Then I worked on my moccasin.

For dinner, Jaine had order pepporoni pizza and club sandwhiches with fires from thetake out place. Then I got to have some more vanilla ice cream!!! >//<

I managed to get enough sewing done on my moccasins so that I didn't need any pins. Mom texted me a picture of my "Take Luck" touque, and I kind of think its a shame only Eli got to see my reaction, because I'm sure I looked very joyful. XP

Chris came and picked me and Michelle up at 8:10pm, Gordon and CAtherine were with him. When we got home, I got zero reaction for the pie, which I thought sucked, considering that I expected at least one person to be super extatic....... *sighs* Our activity for the night ended up being working on the moccasins, "cause Chris had brought the rest of the stuff over from Janie's place. I feel like I helped a lot of people.....I felt like a teacher really, but I still don't think I want to do that as a carrer....

I GOT A B-DAY CARD FROM GRANDMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >//<

Saturday, October 8, 2011

Chisasibi Week Ten: Day 3: Sept 11: Billetting Cont.

Woke up around 9am. Janie had saved me a pancake!!!!>//< I ate it with butter and cloud berry jam, then I ate a bagel with cream cheese.

Then we watched a ton of movie that were on TV. We saw Mr and Mrs Smith, which was just as funny as I'd thought it be. XP He's just not that into you, which was very messed up, well, not really, the movie was well made but the relatiobships in it were messed up. Anywho, I worked on my moccasins the whole time XP

After that I went outback and read my Bible on the deck. It very sunny, so I just laid there for a bit.

Then I went back to the room to check up on Michelle, and told her some stories. Then there was this tomato sosup for lunch, had it with bread. More moccasins!!!!!

Diner was steak with baked potatoes and ceasaer salade. Dessert was apple crips, blueberry pie( from the ones we picked!!!) and vanilla ice cream. >//< so good!!!!!

More moccasins, and a movie called "The Invisable" which was SO GOOD!!!!!! I had to stop sewing!!! Ahgh! It was SSSSOOOOO good!!!! If you ever get the chance you should watch it! Not for young kids though.....kind of violent........*shrugs* Then we saw the beginning of a movie called Original Sin, which was just weird.

I texted with Mom and Kaylee, but missed out on calling home while they were at city on a hill. T.t

Chisasibi Week Ten: Day 2: Sept 10: Billetting Cont.

I got up around 8am, to find that Michelle was already up, and had done quite a bit of sewing on her moccasins. I ate a bagel with cream cheese, watched some news, and ate cron flakes with ablueberry yop. Then I packed my stuff and we all drove up to JAnie's cabin to spend the weekend. Her  mom also came with us.

I almost fell asleep on the drive up. XP When we got to the cabin, we unpacked our stuff, and had lunch, which was beef stew and some of teh bread I made.  Then we all got back in the car and drove off to a spot where we could pick blueberries. We did that for around 2hrs, then Michelle said she didn't feel well, so we packed up and went back to the cabin.

Once there, Janie's husband started a fire, then they all took off to try and find janie's mom a ride back into town. I worked on my moccasins for over and hour, and Michelle slept. It was very quite, and the fire made the wram and very cozy. Usually I don't think I would enjoy living without any running water or plubming and stuff like that, but I actually really enjoyed my time out in the woods. Not just with Janie, but everytime I've been since being in Chisasibi........hm.......

There was some talking that went on, but it was mostly in Cree. But man! I was just working away on thoes moccasins!!!! Well, I guess I should clarify that I was working on the liners (flet) not the actual leather.

Michelle ended up thrwoing up, so we packed up all our things and headed back into town. On the drive back, we got to watch a killer wicked sunset, and some pretty tripy clouds.

We got back around 9:30pm, I did dishes, ate some bannock with jam, and then hit the hay.

Chisasibi Week Ten: Day 1: Sept 9 : Tree Planting, Moccasins and Billetting Cont.

Up at 7am for a shower. Breakfast was cronflakes with a strawberry yop and 2 pieces of bread with PB and Jam. A bit later I also had a toasted bagel with cream cheese. ......I feel bad about eating so much now though. I mean, I already knew that girls tend to gain weight on Katimavik 'cause they eat more, and I don't really care about weight gain myself, but I'm the kind of person where once you point it out, I notice.......

Before leaving for work, we watched some mantracker.

For the 1st 15mins of work, I was running around the school, trying to get a confrimation for when the bus, that was taking some kids tree-planting, would leave.I ended up talking with Judith (the 1st teacher I helped in the school! XD) The bus was going to leave at 1pm like I thought. So after that I went back to the library and finished stamping, stickering and barcoding all the books from yesterday. There were also a couple classes that came in and checked stuff out.

I went for lnch right at 11:45am, amd had leftovers from dinner, plus an apple. Talia stopped by, and we chatted, then I went dwonstaris to do some blogging, but my keys were in my bag with my journal, which was locked in the office.........so Iw ent back upstairs and hung out with Talia.

Luckily Denise came back from lunch early, so I was able to grab my bag before I left to go tree planting with the french grade 5s. I was expecting it to be like what we did at Slyvain's place, but thses kids actually had shovels!!! Safe to say my hands got SUPER drity! But all in good fun for a good cause! ^-^ I also learned that grass is "gazon" in french! XD WE planted tress at 3 different places, and there were some kids I knew from the Day camp. I also kind of ended up being a camera-persone. On the bus ride homw, Tenisha from the summer camp said she'd seen me drinking with Talia and a guy named Paul........I don't understand how she can believing that she can lie to my face about something I was supposedly doing and expect me to belive it........*rolls eyes*

When I got back to the library around 3pm, Denise said it was closed and I could just go home, but it was uper early! so I stayed and blogged till school got out.
(not this entery!)

When I got back to Janie's, I did the dishes thatw ere there, and then made bread. I was waiting for the Julia show to come on, but ever never did. Something about Julia being out sick after spending the night in Radisson. *shrugs* Then I wrote down the story I told Michelle last night. .....yeah..... its was very sleep-overisk. Her wanting a story and the lights all put out and us wishpering 'cause it was late. lol. It was pretty funny.

Then Janie sat dwon at the table and started perparing the oose we were going to have for dinner. (UGH! organs!!!! ) Michelle and I took a walk down by the river, then joined up with JAine and her husband in the mitchwap where they were cooking our dinner!!!! I like mitchwaps, espicailly when there's a fire going. It's so cozy! Makes you want to just lie down and sleep. XD

Dinner was goose, spare ribs, mashed potatoes, and stick bannock with butter and cloudberry jam. (YEAH BANNOCK!!!!!!)

After dinner, Janie showed Michelle and I how to start sewing our moccasins. I accedantly skewerded my knucle with the needel, no blood but yeck! Then we watched "Say yes to the Dress" which was cool 'cause I got to see a lot of different dress, and then we watched "4 weddings."

Chisasibi Week Nine: Day 7: Spet 8 :Billetting Cont.

(All my pens are dieing!!!! T.T And there the one I got from school too!!!!T.t )

During the night, one of the young  babies cried, not sure when exactly, but man! It has been a long time since I woke up to thet sound! Anywho, When I actually got up, I had Honey Comb cereal (get what you want!) and 3 pieces of French toast that Janie made!!!! >//<

I walked part of the way to work with Michelle, then walked the rest by myself. We are billetting on almost the other side of twon, so it's quite the change of scenary.

Morning of work was catagouing, lableing, shevling and some checkouts. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with the scheduale, so I wasn't able to read to teh kids. (The school here works off a nine day scheduale.....its very confusing......)

Lunch was leftover shpehreds pie, but I didn't pack very much, so after I went over to Northern and bought a box of Pb/chocolate gornola bars for $5. Back at the school I blogged an entery. (not this one!)

Work was more shleving, and I re-organized the easy-novels section a bit. Then we got 4 boxes of new books, so I was busy until 4:30pm stamping, stickering and barcoding. I also got to play with Naydine's son a bit. XD

When I got back home, I made some pepper cookies for Jaine and her family. They turned out really light, but VERY good. Michelle and I helped with dinner, and then did dishes.

Dinner was chicken with onion, ceasar salde, and rice with veggies. For dessert we had my cookies, and these Egg-white things with gramcracker Michelle brought home from work. Then she and I played with Eli for a bit (he is SO cute), beforeing heading out for a sweat. We texted Gordon, and went over to his billett family's to see if he'd come. It was nice meeting him family and stuff, they are francocphone, and I knew maybe half of what the kids tried to say to me.

Anywho, we walked around for 1 1/2 hrsish waiting for the sweat to start, and we somehow managed to walk through a swamp and get our feet wet! XP Truns out there wasn't a sweat that night at all. So we went back to Janie's for a bit and had tea, ate some cookies and watched some TV. Then Gordon wanted to go for a walk again, to countinues the conversation we'd been having earlier. So the 3 of us went out again, and over to teh ball feild to talk. Later, Michelle and I walked Gordon home (XDD) and manage to get home just 20mins before crufew!

...........*sighs* Life is just so full of BLERRECHK!

Chisasibi Week Nine: Day 6: Sept 7: Puzzels and Billetting!!!!!

Up at 7:30am for a shower. Then ate more kettel oatmeal with Pb, raisins and chocolate chips. Not to mention half a cucmber.

Work started off pretty slow, I repaired books, then I got a text from Mom telling me that Don Mann had passed away.

Lunch was rice with tuna and blueberries, and the other half of the cucmber. And its kind of late to mention this now.....but before we left on the excrustion we stopped by the commercial center, and Gordon picked me up some mints, since he was going in anyway, I paid him back. I love scott mints!!!!!! >//<

Then I wrapped up the book repair for the day, and tried working a bit on my poster for the Dewey Decimal system. I also picked out a book to try and read for storytime tomorrow. I decided on "Ribbon Rescue" by Robbert Munch. Did you know it's actually about a Mowhawk girl outside of Quebec city? I was particing reading it too, but I got asked to be quite 'cause they were doing work interviews in the library. (I seemed very unfair to me that I got asked to shut up. It's MY workplace you know! Go do interviews in an office if you don't want to be distrubied!!!! )

When I got home, I had a snack and re-packed my bag for billetting. Then, since I had nothing else to do, I sat dwon and tryed to help Chris with a puzzel he bought at Northern. Man was it hard!!!! Everything was orange!!! And you couldn't tell the feathers apart from the leaves!!!!! @.@ I think I maybe got 6 pieceas down......It was funny seeing how worked up Chris got XD ......Haha.....I pity the person he's sending that to as a letter.......(he plans to write on the back of it once it is assembled, then disassemlbel it and mail it. Which I think is a really neat idea, the puzzel is just killer difficult!)

When Michelle got home and poacked up, Chris dropped us both off at Janie's, where the frist thing I did was go through the kids toy box and organize it....-.- but hey! they have one of those old-fashioned tops that's makes noise if you spin it fast enough!!! XD Dinner was shepherd's pie and I did the dishes with Micheele (gotta earn our keep! XD) And then we watched TV!!!!! O.o The shows were" I didn't know I was pargenant" (which was weird beyond words.) and the other was "toddelers and tiaras"..........(very distribuing).......

Chisasibi Week Nine: Day 5: Sept 6

I am stupid!!!! >//< I truned off ALL the sounds on my phone, so I couldn't hear my alram and I slept in till 8am. Luckily, I am seim-awesome, so I still made it to work on time. XP My breakfast was kettel-oatmeal, and there was nothing for lunches T.t

As I was walking to work, I caught up to Michelle and "saved" her from a drunk who had stopped her. *rolls eyes* Poor Michelle. I reallylike Chisasibi, except for that fact that I occasionally fear for my safety!

Work was good. There weren't any kids today because it was a ped-day (basically a pro-d), so I spent my whole day labeling, shelving, cataloging magazins, and I read the newest issues of 17 for fashion updates.

For lunch, I headed over to the commercial center, and checked out the take-out place that is run by local women. I bought a poutine, an egg salade sandwhich, a giger ale, and a HUGE piece of cake with strawberries and whipcream!!!!!! >//< It all came to $15, but it was a very good lunch. And I saved the foil tin to use at the house. XD I wonder if my hippy level is improving. (O.o Chris forgot to explain that to us!!!)

Back at work, Naydine showed me how to repair books. Then Chris came by and we chatted. At the end of the day, I checked out 4 17 mags under the Katima-card. :D When I got home, I took notes on fashion and stuff.

Dinner was beef steak with potatoes and salade.

After I went on the computer and checked my email. Dawson has an email account now!!!!! >//< Then I facebooked some and read some manga! XD People were starting to get picked up for billeting week. Pauline is back in twon, and ended up taking 2 of the guys. Then I went along when Cindy and Justin got dropped off. Unfortunately, Jaine can't take me and Michelle until tomorrow 'cause she's got family staying over.

When we got back to the house, just Michelle, Chris, and I, Chris pulled out a favourite movie of his, aleed "The Motorcycle Dairies." It was a very good movie.......and the frist R-rated one I've ever seen......they were swearing a lot, but in spanish......we had to use subtitles. XP

Now its 12:14am......long movie......good but long! -.-

Chisasibi Week Nine: Day 4: Sept 5: Excrusion - Part 3: Freak Out, Good-Bye, and Dishes

I got up around 9 am. There  had been some plans to go see the sun rise over the lake (Stacy's idea) but I don't think anyone went.....*shrugs* After I got up, I packed up all my stuff, got dressed, and headed for Slyvain's place. Stopped by lake to sing for a bit. When I got to Slyvain's, I had tea, and made oatmeal for breakfast!!!! I had oatmeal while camping!!!!!!!!!!!! >//< I mixed in some of the leftover trail mix too. It was good.

Ugh. I don't know if it was 'cause of the rain or what, but the black flys weren't out yesterday, but today they were and UGH!!!!!!!! XC It was really bad when you stood still, if you were running you were pretty much okay. I got a couple bits behind me ear, and two on my leg, but no major reactions. (LUCKY!)

I helped clean up from breakfast, then I went and laid down in the hammock by the lake. I sang to myself, and I really didn't want to move, it was so nice. After a while, I hear a car going by on the road, so I look up and see Chris driving away in the Katima-van. Now, this confused me and freaked me out. It confused me because he was headed towards the other lake, in other words, it was a dead end, and I got freaked out, because when I went back to the camp, I couldn'd find anyone!!! I saw Stacy, but eveyone else was gone!!! I was so freaked out that they'd actually left me behind! So I started walking down the road, and eventually found them, just as they were finishing up a chore they'd been helping Slyvain with. So, Stacy, Vince, Talia, Michelle and I walked back on the road so the van couldn't pass us, which was funny. XP

We all headed over to Slyvain to prep lunch, but we got back before him and his cabin was locked, so I just went and hugged a tree for, I don't know, like 5mins?

Then we got to plant trees!!! Slyvain gave us these poles with a metal clinydar on the end, you push it into the ground and it takes out the prefect amount of drit for you to put the spuce (or maybe it was pine??) sappling into. I did this bit, and Michelle brought trees over. We made a pretty good team.

After that we had lunch, which was drity chili. I helped with set up and clean up. Then we did a major clean of the Slyvain house and our cabin. It was funny too, 'cause Slyvain kept complaining that we were taking away his work. XD

By then it was 3:45pm, so we all jumped in the van and left. On the ride back, I got to go throught the pics on Michelle's and Catherine's cameras.

.......And this is a bit late, but the day we left to Camps des Pins, the bottom elemant on our stove broke, so all the bread we'd been eating the weekend was only half cooked.......yeah...........

Anywho, when we got home, we unpacked evrything real quick, I got some laundry going, and then did the dishes that we had stored food in for the trip while Talia tossed out all the bad food from our fridge. (Toatlly saw it coming......-.-)  I grabbed a quick shower. Then hung out till dinner, which was mroe drity chilie, and after that, none of us want to eat it every again. XG

Now, I'm sure if I already mentioned this at some point or not, but for dinner dishes, we have a name jar and 2 names get darwn, so house managers have a bit of a break. My name got drawn tonight, which I totally saw coming. But I felt like I'd done a lot, and really didn't want to dishes, which I expressed out loud. The others said I had done a lot, so they put my name back, and put Michelle on dishes. But I finished eating right away, and now of course, I felt bad for having them....I don't know....."cheat" the system? The dry rack was full, so I decided I 'd at lest put those away. Plus they were the dishes I'd been doing earlier. Unfortunately, someone noticed me drying and putting them away, so people started commenting. I don't remeber what everyone said, but I do remeber Chris yelling, "You're name got put back in the jar!" and saying he'd call Vrgine and get me a CTI for over-participation, which got me a little edgy, so I said if he tryed I'd bring religious rights into the issues. >.< Don't even ask!

After that little event, I ate some toast. As I was bitting into it, Brandon, who was also on dishes, asked "Are you eating the last of our bread?" I frooze mind bite with my teeth just sunk into the bread. I guess my expression was funny, 'cause Michelle laughed.

I went out back, sang some, and petted lady. Then I called mom and finished my laundry. After that Chris gave us a quick de-brife of  the weekend and talked to us a bit about billeteing, during which I will be sharing a bed with Michelle........apperently its a big bed.......but there was A LOT of laughing for some reason...?O.o

Then some of us played 3 games of loup-garau, and I tryed calling Dad, but had to leave a message. Then I packed a little in prep for billet week.

Chisasibi Week Nine: Day 3: Sept 4: Excrusion - Part 2:Rain Day and SMORES!!

I woke up at 7am, and sharing a bed with Michelle was okay, if you don`t mind being squished up against a wall. Again, my sleeping bag is wonderful!!!!! >.<  No one else was up yet, so I went to check out that room of old clothes, and I don`t know if it`s because of all the clothing exchanges we did at church or what, but I started folding and orgainizing everything........(-.-).........yeah....I managed to get through half the room. It was super cold though!!!! Haha, at one point, Catherine came in, but I had my back to the door, and since she was tried, she spoke very quietly. She said my name once, and I heard it, turned around and didn`t see her (guess she was still outside room) so I wet back to folding (I`ll admit I was a little creeped out) and then she says my name again, but she is RIGHT behind me. I get startled, jump/flinch and trun around, which makes her flinch. XD It was pretty funny.  I was in the clothes room for around 2 1/2 hrs.

Then I finally went over to Slyvains, hoping  for food. I found Chris and Stacy were already there. Slyvain offered us hot water for tea, and Chris grabbed a cup for me, and it was a super nice cup! Good and big with a good amount of colour and a nice strong handle. :D

We didn`t eat breakfast till 11:30am, and it was eggs, baccon, fruit and bread. I kept walking off too, `cause I had finshed my breakfast early. I`d walk down to the lake and parise, yeah, it was sunday. :P

After breakfast was over, I headed back to work on the clothes room. At one point, Gordon came in and said something like "Let`s go for a walk" and then left again really quickly. Now, I`m not sure why, but I got the impression that was our group activity. Eventhough everyone else had apperently aggreeded on free time till 1:30pm. Anywho, that ment I took some time grabbing my stuff, and I also told /invited Justin to come. But when Justin and I went outside we couldn`t find the group that had left for the walk. So he and I just started walking up the road. We eventually caught up to them, and we all went to see the Lake. One our way back, it started raining harder, so by the time we got back, we were SOAKED!!!!!! O.O

When we all  showed up soaked, Slyvain asked if we had a fire going in the wood stove in our cabin, we said no, and he said we needed on so that when we came in out of the rain we wouldn`t caught a cold. We also found out around this time, that the night before after most of the group had gone to bed, someone left a candle near the stove and it started to dissolve, so that when Slyvain came around to do a safety check (which he almost didn`t do!) there was layer of candel smog that hovered from about 3 feet off the ground all the way to the celeing!!!! We are super lucky!

Anywho, I went over to help start the fire, but I didn`t really have anything to do, so I went back to the clothes room and finished it up. I got like 8 pieces.

Then we ended up with more free time, so I went and put my shoes by the fire, in hopes they`d dry out. And bunch of us hung out and lounged around by the fire. I sat on my sleeping bag after folding it in half so if was very fluffy. ;P I even ended up telling them the storie of Billy Goats Gruf! Someone would make a smart comment about not being 5yrs old anymore. *rolls eyes* It was fun though. We also told a bunch of life stories and jokes! XP

Then everyone fell asleep by the wood stove, including me. I had my player though, and I was always consiously arware of what song was playing, so I wonder if I ever really fell asleep. Justin stayed up and kept the fire going for us. 2hrs later, Talia came in and woke everybody up, saying that dinner was ready. She had cooked it all by herself!

Dinner was spicy sausages with bread and cut veggies. I was on clean up.

Then I went for an other walk with a different group configuration. We went to the lake again, and this time there was a lot of sing-a-longs! XD It was very fun. When we walked back, it was drak out and we had touse flash light!!! O.o XD

When we got back, some of us played crazy 8s. Then we all headed back toour cabin to make smores, which were super good!!!! We had so much fun too, `cause everyone got hyped up on sugar. XD I wrote the enter in my journal by candel light! It was epic!!! XD I have also been rocken`the 70s look all day with a ear-band warmer, and sweater and my hobo glove!!! ;D

Right before bed, everyone spent like 3mins saying "goodnight" to everyone and everything in as many ways as they could think of!!!! XD It was halarious. Girls are sleeping on floor tonight.

Chisasibi Week Nine: Day 2: Sept 3: Excrustion - Part1: Arrival

Woke up at 6:30am to make sure I`d be to leave on the excrusion. Ate couscous with yogurt, which was pretty good.  Also had an orange, and bread with PB and honey. Then I blogged a bit (NOT THIS ONE!) and helped pack/clean up the house. Before we left, I quickly ate the rest of the couscous with milk and sugar, the way Brandon suggested, because I didn`t want it to be wasted and thrwon out when we got home.

In the van, I had a nice chta with Justin bafore falling asleep. When we got to Camp des Pins, we unloaded all our stuff, and ate lunch, which was sandwhiches and cut up veggies and a plumb. Then we all went for a 2km walk/hike thing to look for mushrooms, which I sucked at. I mostly held the lesh of a dog named Brownie. He was the only dog with a lesh; I believe he`s a hunting dog from the south. There were lots of others dogs too, only, they`re wild and half wolf because Slyvain`s husky dog got rapped by a wolf...............yeah...................

Got back, and the whole group hung out in our cabin and just socialized. Then some of us went to help Sylvain stack wood.  Then I started collecting fire wood to make a fire so we could cook our dinenr. There were 3 of us trying to prep for dinner, and when I found the others guys, they going through a TON of old clothes that Slyvain had in the back room of our cabin, apperently he said we could take some stuff.

For dinner, we had "tin-foil dinners" which were really good, despite them being put together randomly, or at least, not the "proper" way. But it all cooked and tasted awesome! So s'all good.

Then Michelle took off to rekindel and get ready for the french activity of Loup-garur. (like Mafia) Julia joined us, and we talked about love and stuff. (Girl Talk!!!! XD lol) Then the rest of the group showed up and we played loup-garur in french for the 1st time, in the dark!!! XD It was also Michelle`s 1st time playing. But MAN!!!!!! It was SO fun!!!!!! XD >.<

Then we saw EPIC Northern lights. They were SO BRIGHT and GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!! And there were SSSSSOOOOO many stars! We even saw a shooting one! It's really funny too, 'cause Talia, Michelle and I were all walking together, and when we saw the shooting star, we took off running after it for no apperant reason. XD Of course, we stopped pretty quick 'cause I remebered that if we ran past anyof the dogs and startled them, they`d attck us, like they did to Gordon when he ran by earlier in the day and they ripped a piece clan out of his jeans.

Now I have to share a bed with Michelle for the night, 'cause the girls are sleeping in the rooms and there aren`t enough beds. Guys are sleeping in common area on the floor.

Chisasibi Week Nine: Day 1: Sept 2

I woke up at 7am. Again. Before my alarm. I think that might mean that 7am is my natural wake-up call.....or something.......Breakfast was bread with PB/honey, an orange, and yogurt with puffed rice, and tea! XP

Work was lots of labeling, stamping and card/book scanning, not much shelving. (Did I mention the scaner beeps every time you use it? >.<) During lunch, I read the magazine 17 again. I even skected out some of the outfits, then created some of my own! XP

Lunch was leftover baked veggies and shook aa min (fish with blueberries).

More labeling!!!!! But I like the work, it keeps me busy, and I feel porductive. Naydine is also showing me how to repair books. At the moment, that means I am taking a knife to certain books and removing all the pages. :P

Library closed right at 4pm, and then I was stuck walking home in the prouing rain, while my brand new yellow raincoat sat in the closet at home. *rolls eyes* Not only that, but earlier in the day, Chris had stopped by the school, and offered to come back later and give us a ride home! *sighs* I would trun the offer down! But the walk wasn`t really that bad. When I got home, the 1st thing I did was change out of my wet clothes! I just hope my shoes dry by tomorrow. (Random note: take the in-soles out of your shoes to help prevent athelets foot! the moisture needs to escape!!!!! O.o)

At home, I did some more fashion designe stuff, at more bread with butter and icing sugar, than one with chocolate chips. Dug up my carry-on out of my suit case so I can use it to pack for the excrusion.

Dinner was dry ribs with salade and couscous.

After dinner Justin lent me his pencil caryons and I coloured some of my designs. >//< Very cool! Then I sang out back for a bit. Ate some bread with PB and jam. Then the group got together and we all prepared food for the weekend trip. I cut bread and packaged carrots and potatoes. ^_^

Gordon let me play his bag-pipe CD for a bit!!!!! >.< I really don`t see why people get so touchy about it.........

Chisasibi Week Eight: Day 7: Sept 1: Mural Day!

Up around 7am, ate oatmeal with PB and honey and FEW chocolate chips. Played solitaire.

Walked to work with Michelle.

In the morning, work was super slow, so after checking books out to one class, lamenating and the mroning break, I was able to go over to the class of a teacher named Michelle and help her put a mural up on the wall of the classroom. Sinces she teaches English, everything we put up was like quotes and stuff, words that inspried the students and made them feel good. 1st off, I just painted something up for myself, 'cause I thought of it this morning and thought it was pretty good: "It's not just a matter of you believeing in them. It's also a matter of them believing in you." When I originally thought of it, I was thinking about parenting, but I guess it applies to a lot more than that. >.< Then I helped paint up some stuff that the kids wanted, and ended up using a latter. XD

Lunch was an apple, but I ended up throwing it out 'cause it looked moldy. I also hadthe leftover soup from the night before, although there wasn't very much.

Right after lunch, it got SUPER hectic, 'cuase we had 2 classes signed up for the library and an extra one just went ahead and showed up. Naydine wasn't there either, because she had to take her son to the dentist. After all those classes left, Denise closed the library for the rest of the day. I spent my time after that labeling, shelving and bar-coding.

I got off work right at 4pm, so I went over to Northeren to look at that shirt I wanted. I didn't buy it though. I ran inot non-PL Chris who was coming over for dinner, and on the way home, Brandon caught up with me, so we walked home together.

When I got home, I snacked on bread with butter and icing sugar.

Dinner was Shook Ka Min, which is a traditional dish of fish with blueberries. There was also an intence salade and baked veggies. We started dinner a bit late, so before we had finished, Olivier and Stacy had already showed up for our luangage lessons. Those went okay, after we had a quick jam session with non-pl Chris. Michelle also tatooded my arm with pen. It was very pretty. >.< OOoooo! I should've gotten a picture! Oh well.

Then I called Mom, and we talked about how, if I get a boyfriend, it would be better if he were a christian, which is veyr ture but kind of sucks. And I'm still wondering wheather or not an arranged marriage would be totally crazy. ......Alright, it would be totally crazy. But that's that. .........ARG!!!!!!!! T.t

Ate some bread with butter and icing sugar, and anyother piece with butter and chocolate chips. And I found where all the currants disappeared to!!! They were in the bread!!!!! >.<

Chisasibi Week Eight: Day 6: Aug 31: James Baie James

Got up around 7:30am. I had raisin bannock with butter, spiced bannock, and bread with PB and honey for breakfast. I found out after that we DID have yogurt, so I had some with currants and cornflakes.

Walked to work with Michelle.

Work seemed relatively slow today. I looked for clipart for this poaster I wanted to make for the library, 'cause I find that the kids check out mostly non-fiction books, and that section is a LOT easier to browes when you know what at least some of the numbers in the Dewey decimal system mean.

Lunch was left over moose stew with some spiced bannock. I also had some of the left over veggies. Man, we have been eating a lot of sweet potato!
I finally rememebr to show Naydine the Professionalisum paperwork. Then I cut out some stuff that will be lamenated tomorrow morning.

Ate an apple on my way home from work.

When I got home, I sketched out an idea for a web-based fashion line, "The Paper Bag." There were also some kids over, but we shooded them away.

Dinner was sweet potato soup with sasuage in it, more bannock with butter (there was blueberry bannock and raisins bannock) and chicken wings, but I dind't like those.  I did dishes with Brandon.

The evening activity was going to James Bay, or Baie James, or James Baie James. Whichever you like. XP

THE SUNSET WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! O.O Chris convicended me to taste the ocean, so I could compare it my coast, and the water ia barely even salty! I mean seriously? I could've had a glass of the stuff and not minded in the slightest! We mostly just walked around the beach. We even found a jelly-fish! (Dead, of course.) Some of us ended up having to walk super far so we could retrive Vince before it got too drak to see. Justin's been pretty chill lately. He also finaly finished thsi SUPER detailed pic he started when we 1st got here! I am very envious of his attention to detail. It's very impressive.

I REALLY want to be a fashion designer. >.<

Anywho, Julis made a fire at the beach. So we all sat around it for a bit. It was very nice.

IN the van on the way back, Michelle put her head on my shoulder, so I rester my head ontop of hers. My neck ended up getting very soar on one side, and I wondered if that's how guys sometimes felt when they cuddle with their GFs..........yeah..........I think of weir dthings I guess.

At  home, I ate more yogurt, but with puffed rice becasue we are low on cereal, and we ran out of currants. T.t

Today I found out that I can wait until I am able to appile for mature applicants status and still be able to use my passport to education money. ^.^

............*sighs* ...................

Chisasibi Week Eight: Day 5: Aug 30: Summer's Ging Away Party

Woke up at 7:30am and ate beef stew for breakfast, with an orange and some bread with butter and rasberry jam, and some more bread with bread and butter with chcolate chips. "Shot" Vincent.

I walked to work with Michelle. At work, I looked up the emergancy numbers for Radisson for the excrusion froms. I did find some phone numbers, but I didn;t find any addresses or anything. T.t

Today I was bar-coding and labeling books. I also deleted some of the old videos from the catalouge, but I started with the wrond number, so I ended up deleting 6-7 things I shouldn't have........T.t

Lunch was the last of the leftover Straugunaff, with apple. I had also packed a PB and Honey sandwhich, but I ate that during the morning break. I ate in the library with Justin and Vincent. In the afternoon, I was super busy!!! I learned how to give books temporary bar-codes and a new password sthat let me over-ride the book limit on the kid's library cards.

After work, I went to the post office and bought the biggest box they had. When I got home, I cleaned up all my stuff and packed the box. Then i went to do a load of laundry, and Gordon "shot" me in the laundry room. After that I went out in the back, sat in the sun, sang some hyms, and petted Lady.

A man named Ricky Bobby was supposed to come over for dinner, but we waited 1hr and a 1/2 and he never showed.

Dinner was Moose stew and baked banock with raisins and blueberries and spiecs in it.

I called Summer to tell her why I wasn't at her place for the time I said I would be.  Then I left the house with Chris, Talia and Michelle. We took a neat path, but we walked WAY t far past Summer's house. (we had been looking for the evidance of a bond-fire) The walk was really nice though. When we finally got to Summers, they hadn't been able to start the fire yet! So Chris got to work, and I started gathering twigs for kindeling. I managed to get quite a bit considering it was pretty much black out.  Stacy was there for a bit, and Michelle, Talia and I all went over to the general store, and Talia and I bought marshmellows, wagon wheels and cocochums, as our contirbution to Summer's party. That and the fire. XD It was really nice though, we got to laugh and talk with Summer and her friends. We also brunded the card broad from the boxes XD I wish I could've gotten to know them better. THey seem like really nice people. |*shrugs* That's life I guess.

When we walked home, I told CHris the joke about the Murphy Twins, he liked it. ^_^

Oh yeah, and the downstrias shower is out of order 'cause Chris re-coked it.

Chisasibi Week Eight: Day 4: Aug 29

I woke up at 7:30am. I ate yogurt with currants and cornflakes for breakfast, and I also had some left over sloppy joe. Then I had some bread with butter and chocolate chips.

I got to work early after walking to work with Michelle and Barndon after I caught up to them.  Work was good. I got to check books out to kids, make library cards, and got to open, stack and stamp some new books. >//< I also read couple. XD I helped sort libaray cards.

Lunch was more leftover straugnaff and an orange. Stacy came by and  said hi. She also dropped off some borchures about toursium at LG2 and local communities.

Summer came by after work (the one with pink hair!) And she invited the whole group to her going away party tomorrow night before she leaves for Edmonton. We also have a free time block tomorrow, so I plan to go!!

When I got home, I read Born Indian again (all short stories written by the same guy and they take place in a resver outside Edmonton). I figure Chris lent me the book, so I only have until we leave to finish it.

Dinner was bean and tofu cassorale and roasted veggies. The veggies were AWESOME!!!!!! XD
I read some more, we worked on the excursion froms, and I "shot" Cindy. XP Michelle also helped me dig my suitcase out of Gnarnia 3, so I am 1 step closer to mailing my bow home to my parents. >//<   Virgine made some bread, and some blueberry-chocolate chip cookies.  I was gonna start writing Elise back too, but I ended up going to Jean Noel's with Michelle, so she could retrun a movie a she borrowed. We ended up staying for a bit, and because Jean is leaving on a road trip soon, we ended up talking about cars and stuff, about which Jean Noel is very passionate. O.o

On the way back, I realised the nail of my middle finger on my left hand had almost riped off. So when I walked in the house, I was holding that finger with my other hand, to portect the nail. Chris was siting at the table when I came in and his eyes widened and he said, "What did you do?!" Of course, he was thinking that I had cut my finger. Again. -.- Really people? Really? *shakes head* Then, when I went to tell Michelle that it was the same finger that a nail had chipped on earlier in the day, all I said was, "Michelle, It was the same finger." And Gordon and Brandon overheard that and THEY were both like. "DID YOU CUT YOURSELF AGAIN!?!" *rolls eyes* Really people! I AM NOT CLUMSY!!!!!! *sighs*

Anywho, Brandon is doing a 24hr Nova Scotia impression. And I checked my email again.

But really! Am I in love or not? Probably not......a lot can change in 6 months........espicially when you don't see each other.......*sighs*................maybe I should stop mentioning this......O.o.......XP

Got back home, read some more, and  drank some tea.

I almost went to bed without journaling!!!!! o.O I am so lucky I remebered. I haven't missed a day yet!!! XP

Chisasibi Week Eight: Day 3: Aug 28

Dogs were braking at 8am, so I got up and had a shower. I had some leftover storgaunaff and yogurt with currants and cron flakes for breakfast, I felt very satisfied after.

Then there was CCK, which just seemed to drag on and on and ON!!!!!! *sighs* Let`s just say we went off topis A LOT!

Catherine and I made sloppy jeos with carrots for lunch, but I wasn`t sure if there`d be enough food. So I served all the plates myself, and I don`t know about you, but there is something about serving all the food yourself, and sitting down at a set table, that just feels more satisfiing, at least in my opinion. I also out bread and creamed corn on the plates. XD They were all pretty indentical, so it reminded me of army rations! XD

Then I cleaned both bathrooms, and Catherine and I swept.

We were supposed to have  Kids day, so I went to lie dwon for a bit, but  when I got woken up, it wasn`t for kids day (`cause there were no kids) but for a group meeting where we decided  to go for a walk and pick blueberry. I enjoyed the walk, and felt very proud of the  2 yogurt containers and big tup-o-ware container I filled. Although, whenever I mentioned that I wasn`t a totally fan of blueberries, I was kind of annioied by how certain people just assumed I`d let them eat them. That, and a bunch of people left early to go home `cause they wanted to make bleuberry pie. Then when Catherine and I got home, they`d just left all the blueberries on the table.

Dinner cooked surprisingly quickly!  And we were actually able to eat at 6pm. We had spring vegetable and bean soup, which I ate with crumbled bread in it, and I found it very good. Catherine mopped while I cooked.

Then we all sat down together and tryed to fill out froms for the excursion thatw e want to have this weekend, even though Katimavik requires like at least 3 weeks notice, and we are dwon to like 3 days......Chris also re-started the Bang Bang U R dead game, and we set it up properly this time so we will only have one winner.

After the activity ended, I made more bread, and ate one of the pancakes that Catherine and Gordon gave me. Then I "shot" Brandon and got Cindy`s name. I felt bad after though, so while Brandon wenrt out with Melony and Julia, and finished baking the cookies he wanted to take to work the next day.

I texted with Kaylee, finished the cookies, and read some of the comics that Vincent wrote. They were super funny, but very offencsive/ contervercial. *shrugs* oh well. Let`s just say its a very good work of dark humuor.

Then I called Dad, chatted with Brandon, and checked my email, but there were no new messages.

Two girls also came over, and I drew them each a portrait. I also drew a Katima-Fairy that I put up on Chris` wall.

Then I ate some more leftover stroguanaff.

I also realised I had a bug bite right next to my eye......

Chisasibi Week Eight: Day 2: Aug 27: Mid-rotation Reflection and FIRE!!!!!!

I selpt in till 10am, which was SO nice.  I had franch toast for breakfast too because Brandon offered me some!!! >//< I had one piece with Jam and the other with surpy. Oh yeah, and Brandon`s french toast set off the smoke alarm at around 9am. Haha. He also made the french toast out of white bread, which I had made for Virgone after she came yesterday `cause she can`t eat whole wheat, but of course, everone else, being so self-foucesed, just went ahead and ate it. *rolls eyes*

Then I organized the shoes and washed the floors.

Then as a last miniute desision, we changed drity chilie to to fryed ham with rice and a salade. It was actually a REALLY good lunch, despite its.........well, let`s just say I really suck a meal planning when it comes to the gorcery shopping bit.

Then the whole afternoon consisted of doing the mid-rotation reflection with Vrigine. I thought it went okay. Nothing stellar, but nothing unbareable. I found we didn`t talk or address any group issues, but we talked ALOT about Chris. We finished aroun 5:45pm.

Of course, Catherine and I still had to make dinner! So it ended up not being ready till 8:10pm `cause beef stew does not exactly cook quilckly, espicially when you are rushed so you don`t think to cut the meat into smaller pieces!! -.-

Gordon and I also succeeded in setting off, and thankfully putting out an OIL FIRE!! It was nuts. We knew the pan was on to high (my bad) but before I could trun it down, Gorddon went and poured more oil in the pan, which caught on fire. I grabbed a dish cloth right away (`cause I know you don`t use water) but I frooze up when I thought that the cloth might catch on fire, and then spread it. gordon grabbed the baking soda and put the fire out, but you`re supposed to use baking powder, so the smoke was really harsh and made my eyes water. Some walked in and thought I was crying! It was so bad.
*sighs* In anycase, it sucked, but was definetly a life experiance.

But dinner ended up being okay. It was beef stew and salade with bread. Talia had leftover rice with boiled carrots and tofu. (I plated up her meal all nice like to make her feel special......>.<) The humuas was also put out after Vrigine helped Catherine up-grade it.

After Dinner I cleaned the boys bathroom. Catherine had done the gril`s while I was cooking.

Gordon was heading out for a walk, and I asked if I could tag along (`cause I promised not to walk around the woods be myself) and he said yes. I got to see these neat rocks behind one of the daycare`s, and he and I sat and talked for hours! and about ecerything. I really enjoyed it. Gordon was right to miss having those kinds of conversations, I agree completely! XP

When we got home, Nathan and his mom stopped by to see if they could get Cindy for a bond-fire. Cindy had already left for their house though.......Anywho, Nathan`s mom got authorized as a driver, so Brandon, Gordon, Catherine, and I all piled in her van to go look for Cindy and go to the bond-fire. We never did see Cindy, after looking around for 20mins. But we did stop by a canteen I hadn`t been to that was really nice. Then we all went to the bond-fire, which was really a camp fire, near the place where sweats are held. While we were there, I ate 2 hotdogs, had one can of nesltea and ate two marshmellows! I was SO happy too, because I firgured out how to roast them the same way Maggie`s dad did back in Red Deer at one of the church picins! >//<

Cindy did make it eventually.

I walked home with Catherine and Gordon. I`m telling you though, walking around in the dark freaks me out. You never know what could be lruking just 15feet away!!! And it didn`t help that we had to walk through construction sites, right next to the bush, at 1am, and Catherine wanted to see a bear!
